It has never been in a house yet.  It has lived in a box since the day it was built!  If you are looking for a oval table with a traditional look than this might be the table for you.  The finish is original and it is dark red mahogany. The very first thumbnail picture shows true color best . The table does not have a glossy sheen. It has a 30% sheen which is a little duller  ( Please note the last picture shows the same model table in a glossy finish).   This ad is for the duller finish table. The table opens and closes easily.  This table is also very thick.  It is not a skimpy looking table. Please note that the last picture in the above ad, is showing a different table which sold a while ago.  That is the only picture which is not the actual table you are buying.  That picture is here to show you how the leaves would look on your table.     Measurements: 86"Longx51"Widex30" High.
