Description:
60 Round dining room table with leaves. This table is 60" round in the center and has 6 leaves which go around the outside perimter and make it a larger 84 round table. Your room should be at least 14 feet x 14 feet to do a table like this. This table has talented craftsmanship. The 60 inch round table has an apron so when you are not using leaves, the table has a full look. This table is very sturdy whether the leaves are in or not. Also, please note these leaves have rails under them, so when they go on and off of the table, they will not fumble and fall to the floor. I have seen this design on prominent tables and it is a very handy feature. Once the leaves are in place, you can lock them into each other with U shape clamps. The under side of the table also has a nice veneer. The table has a nitro celluose lacquer finish with a glossy sheen. This table is mahogany construction, but it was finisihed with a walnut stain so there is little or no red in this tables finish.
The table is shown in our walnut finish hence the model number ends in WAL, but the table's true color is best described as brown mahogany which has a hint of red. We have a redder finish available too which can be seen in the model AP 60 84 MAH.
Towards the bottom of the picture gallery, you will notice a few pictures of this model table with satinwood banded fields. This is a new option available for those who would like a caramel brown satinwood banded table which is very traditional and historic to these style tables. This adds to the cost of the table ($100) but it might be worth it if you like this look. Satinwood has a more figured cross grain which look like waves or fingers.
