Description:
Use this table as a 60 round dining table or add the perimeter leaves and open table to 80 inches round. Get two formal round dining tables for the price of one. Color is perfect. Some red mahogany in the field of the table and base, and some brown mahogany around edges, so you can use this table with any mahogany furniture. Pie cut flame mahogany field with multiple satinwood banded inlays and a single round inlay in center. We show this table with two style bases, the heavier rope turn leg base is available but not recomended because this base is not nearly as sturdy as the simple base. The rope turn base option will take $750 off the ticket price. We will ship the simple and sturdy base with this table by default.
Some people would call this a round Duncan Phyfe table because the leg style was originall designed by Duncan Phyfe. This is a popular and sought out style pedestal. This mahogany table has leaves which fit around the table to make a bigger round. This table top was built in China. But the quality control and overall quality of this table is impressive and the improved legs are not made in China. We do not drop ship, so the table will come to our warehouse distribution center before it ships and right now we have one in stock and ready to go. The pedestals are my own line of custom pedestals from Indonesia and this improved base, is solid mahogany. We show many pictures of these legs to illustrate the quality build. The legs are layered mahogany solids and this is a well engineered Duncan Phyfe pedestal. Nice formal round dining table for traditional decor and the table will take some punishment. Thick Veneers and a durable finish make this a great table for a high traffic formal or traditional dining space. Great table for Commercial space too.
This is a great table for the money, but it is not fancy. We have fancier tables availables so if you looking for a high shine, glossy finish, we can do better than this.
The table was inspected carefully, and it is in great shape and new.
With the cheaper rope turn pedestal, table will rock left to right about 1/4" if you put your arms around it and twist but it is very steady if you lean on the edge . I would not hesitate buying this table with either base for practical everyday use.
Matt finished lacquer is illustrated above. Look at the pictures above which show daylight relfecting back into camera. Table is not glossy.
