We are known for our success rate shipping furniture and compassionate customer service by customers nationwide. But, if your a blanket wrap delivery company, we are known to be a pain in the bottom. Shippers fret our stop, like a kids nerve a doctor's visit. On every visit, a shipper will be tempted to pack our furniture with regular moving pads like everyone else. We do not do things like everyone else here. And, I can promise that a simple blanket, would not save a piece of furniture from being damaged from a likely bump in travel. In every shipping situation, and each one is slightly different, the shipping job calls for discipline, time, material and each job should be handled the right way and not the easy way. This may all sound like hot air and of no interest to you as a reader, but if your trying to ship furniture, this is not a bunch of hot air. It is the key to a successful delivery without damage. In these pictures, you'll see a Henredon Aston Court being packed by our staff and ready to ship via blanket wrap service. This table has an apron, which we protect with custom fitted EPS panels and 1" styrofoam boards. During our busy season, primarily the fall months of October through December, many orders will come in within days of each thus creating a burden on our shippers. We do everything possible to get everyone done on time without delay. On this day, we had about 5 or 6 orders to be picked up by Plycon. The first truck that came to service our store didn't have enough room for all of the orders so I called dispatch for another truck. We can't do this on every time, but we will try on every occasion to get everyone's orders out the door as quickly as possible and without delays. In this case, there was another Plycon truck in the area so we were able to get everyones products on the road by our promised deadline. 2 Plycon trucks on AntiquePurveyor loading dock during peak season ensuring orders are filled without delay.
