These are really cool pictures!  These old furniture tags, are all about 10-15 years old.
I collected these name tags over the years because I thought it was interesting to see how brand name manufucaturers deal this sensitive area of concern regarding mahogany, and other exotic wood checking.  You can read more about checking in our technical category, but these tags should help eleviate the concerns about these age lines, or checking lines in furniture.  Recently, I delivered a mahogany dining table to a client who had an E.J. Victor sideboard, taged signed and all, and the top of the cabinet was checking.  I estimated the cabinet to be about 7 years old, and sure enough my client said that was exactly the age of the cabinet.  In most case, flame mahogany will check and that's ok!

Henredon Grand Providence Collection. This tag came off of a Henredon Grand providence dining room table we sold a few years ago. I will eventually post some pictures of this table. Killer table.
