Expandable round dining table, an updated high-end Stately Home Baker Capstan table reproduction. This round pedestal table has self-storing leaves and seats 6-10 people.  It can be used at 66″ round or 84″ round. Like the original, it has a crotch mahogany field and straight-grain mahogany leaves finished in a traditional brown mahogany color.

We measured every detail of the original Baker table, therefore, this reproduction table will be very accurate if compared to the Stately Homes original.  The table stands on 4 heavy saber legs, each terminating in a polished brass foot cap, which is cast and polished to amazing detail using lost wax casting.  Unlike the original Baker table, these leaves are self-storing, therefore, you do not need a storage cabinet.  They will stow away inside the table and behind the apron. The apron, the column, and the legs are very significant, heavy, and sturdy.  The outswept tapered legs are fluted to match the similarly decorated apron and oversized fluted column.
