An expandable round dining table, a high-end reproduction of the Stately Home Baker Capstan table. This round pedestal table has self-storing leaves and seats 6-10 people.  It can be used at 64″ round or 84″ round. It has a simplistic, classical “understated” sapele mahogany field with a brown walnut finish.

We measured every detail of the original Baker table; therefore, this reproduction table will be very accurate if compared to the Stately Homes original.  The table stands on four heavy saber legs, each terminating in a polished brass foot cap, which is cast and polished to an amazing detail using the lost wax casting method.  Unlike the original Baker table, these leaves are self-storing; therefore, you do not need a storage cabinet.  They will stow away inside the table and behind the apron. The apron, the column, and the legs are very significant, heavy, and sturdy.  The outswept tapered legs are fluted to match the similarly decorated apron and oversized fluted column.
