Description: French style American made dining table.  This is a custom mahogany dining table manufactured in the USA.  This table concept was was brought to us on a bar napkin, but eventually the idea turned into a fabulous one-of-a kind dining table.  This table will accept a 22" leaf and the table will have American made steel extensions.  The self storing leaf sits inside a leaf box under the table. Leaf has fold away apron and the apron has brass latches to lock into place when assembled on the table. Astetically, this room needed a simple table to coordinate with the woodwork so it was designed with a simple cathedral mahogany field, herringbone separators and wide mahogany banding all of which matches the floor and raised panels in the room. Leaf box is lined with felt so the leaf can safely stow away when not in use.
For added strength and stability, a Hepplewhite style support leg folds out from the center of the table which can support extra weight loads if needed but in reality this leg is not really needed.
Some folks call this style table an eight leg table.   It has a scallop or shark bite corner and a boat shape top.

Table is 54" wide at its widest point and the table's starting postion would be 108" which would seat 8. With the leaf, the table can seat 10 people.  Inside legs clearance with no leaves is 88".  This table can be customized and it is 100% American bench made.
