To configure the table for 12 people, use one leaf in the center of the table.  If you want to seat 14 people, you would use 2 leaves, one on each end. To reach full capacity, the two ends and the middle can be opened to seat 16 people at 166 inches long. The table has a wide, solid wood, contoured edge molding, and the tabletop is decorated with raised variegated wood. Mild factory distressed finish, minor dings, and worm holes resemble years of patina—a family-friendly walnut masterpiece for seating up to 16 People.  The tabletop rests on four significant turned columns and a hammered-iron stretcher, which adds strength and stability.
