54-inch round mahogany dining table with two leaves. This table features custom forged brass hardware, a pie-cut mahogany field, blonde border, and a fine black-and-white inlay separator. It rests on an overbuilt, exceptionally sturdy Duncan Phyfe–style birdcage pedestal. The steel-reinforced saber legs terminate in custom-forged, tarnished brass feet. The design reflects a precise, traditionally made, high-end 18th-century–inspired table. The solid brass foot caps are produced in-house using a traditional lost wax casting technique. These classic brass feet are fitted with threaded levelers to ensure long-term stability. The table halves and leaves lock securely into place with handmade cam buckles, which are neatly stored beneath the table when not in use. Heavy-duty, American-made steel table slides allow the table to expand into an oval configuration measuring 54 inches deep by 90 inches wide. The table accepts one or two 18-inch leaves and remains sturdy and stable in all configurations. These tables are manufactured exclusively for our store.
