Traditional mahogany double-pedestal dining table.  This formal dining room table extends from 6 feet to 12 feet with three extension leaves, an AP Exclusive by AntiquePurveyor. At twelve feet, the table seats up to 14 people when fully extended.

The table is constructed in a Duncan Phyfe style. Each pedestal incorporates brass-turned columns, solid brass feet with integrated levelers, and steel structural supports beneath each saber leg. Sunburst flame mahogany veneer panels meet on both sides of the tabletop and continue across multiple leaves, leaving a beautiful landscape of organic patterns along the entire length of the table. Fine black and white separators and contrasting blonde inlays surround the table’s field, similar to Hepplewhite designs. The table is dressed with a recessed skirt for lighter presence in the room and it is decorated to match the flame mahogany atop. Solid mahogany edges finish in a waterfall-reeded profile.

This table offers a wide range of color possibilities and is well suited to rooms decorated in light browns, cherry wood, natural-toned walls, and inlaid floors. The finish pairs especially well with yellow-brown and cognac tones and has also become increasingly popular alongside modern murals.
