The table extends from 9 feet to 21 feet in length using a system of two 36-inch leaves and four 18-inch leaves. The base configuration consists of three 36-inch sections, each supported by a birdcage pedestal reinforced with steel braces, solid brass foot caps, and adjustable levelers. The tabletop features D-shape ends, a burled walnut inlaid border, a crotch mahogany perimeter apron, and a sunburst inlaid crotch mahogany field. The flame mahogany fletches are formed in 18-inch lengths to maintain a symmetrical design across all configurations. The table expands in 18-inch increments.
