The top incorporates a historically inspired radial expansion mechanism, allowing the table to open from 66 inches to 85 inches in diameter while maintaining a circular form. The veneered surface displays variation in grain between the oak and walnut, creating a layered visual effect across the top. The table is supported by a concave central base, providing a continuous and sculptural foundation beneath the expanding surface. Finished in a Kona tone, the structure integrates mixed veneers and a radial extension system within a compact form suited for smaller dining spaces.
