This newly made reproduction dining side chair is crafted from acacia and finished in Country Farmhouse Walnut, using layered distressing and tonal variation to create the weathered patina of reclaimed wood. The tall planked back is framed by squared uprights and assembled with exposed tenon construction, emphasizing the chair’s rustic joinery. A patinated, hammered-metal handle is mounted across the upper back rail, introducing an industrial detail while providing a practical handhold. The neutral upholstered seat is supported by straight front legs, while the rear posts extend downward into subtly splayed back legs. Rubbed edges, darker recesses, surface markings, and intentionally uneven coloration give the frame the appearance of an older farmhouse chair without presenting it as antique or genuinely reclaimed. Its restrained form allows the distressed wood finish, visible construction, plank detailing, and metal back handle to define the design.
